Although I love all the white that has been so typical in the Scandinavian interiors for years I can’t help but being drawn more and more towards the darker hues – grey, black, dark petrol blue. This house really appealed to me.

This is not my style but I like what’s going on here. I definitely prefer this to all the Scandinavian all-white homes out there. When they started painting the floors white too I sort of had enough. I need my wood look ;-)

Although I love the white floors in pictures I can’t help but think how often I would have to clean… :/ I love wooden floors as well. Don’t think I could have painted a proper parquet floor white. But it looks like the next trend is to paint the floor black. Soon all Scandinavian interior blogs will have black floor :)
