Plywood and white

I found this beautiful home for sale on Bolaget. Beautifully bright and with some fun added such as the yellow chair with all the white around the dining table and the material used (plywood in the kitchen).
I am really loving the plywood trend. It took some time but I slowly started loving the material. What do you think about plywood? Would you use it in your home?

This is actually my neighbour’s home! She’s very artistic (as you can tell) and has her own illustration company in Copenhagen. They’re such a fun family and have a fab home!

think this place is gorgeous. Lots of design pieces with homey touches hanging on the muuto dots. I think the ply looks really great in the kitchen, are the stairs ply too?

Reading the above comments – It’s a small world:) As for plywood, I prefer solid wood over plywood, but definitely plywood over synthetic materials like mdf and so on. Although I’m not sure how natural is the glue between the layers of plywood…

Great find! I think if I had the choice I would always choose wood over plywood, but in the right setting, plywood could be wonderful, like in the interior you just shared.

well, i must say that here in portugal plywood is common… though it’s not plywood i have my whole house in those colours – white and bright wood. and this house is amazing! also love the yellow chair and such wide living-room!! i’m always re-arranging things in my tiny living-room to make it feel wider and not full with furniture!
