I have been enjoying our holiday to the fullest the last few days. Long walks in the beautiful nature, reading, shopping, and staying in bed in the mornings. It has been fantastic to recharge the batteries and just enjoy all the little things in life. Today I stumbled across this beautiful apartment in Stockholm on Ideas to Steal. I think the colours go well with the rain and cold weather we are having at the moment.

Wonderful apartment Marianne-I’m a huge fan of bringing in stron rugs with very simple interiors-a fabulous home! :-)

I do like classic red rugs like that and especially in rooms like this one, with the rest of the furnishing being quite neutral

I spot so many WANTS here. The wooden floor, the subway tiles, the ethnic rug, the Eames chairs. Sigh!

Marianne how gorgeous is this place? Love that pale floor just having mine sanded and white oil added as I type!
Jealous of your trip too…. We were hoping to do a week in Sweden this summer but will postpone till little bean gets here.

Oh I am :) Just wish it would rain slightly less, but every now and then the sun comes out and I run outside :)
