This week my work desk, my mind, and honestly our home has been looking a lot more like the second picture (although our mess is not as stylish). There has been lot to do at my day job, lots of orders to ship, VAT returns to do, a weekend to plan (I will be visiting London Design week, if anyone is there on Saturday let me know, would love to have a coffee), a fridge that stopped working and so on… Whenever I have weeks like this I wonder how those of you who have kids manage? I admire you!
We have also treated ourselves this week by booking a holiday in December so at least there is light at the end of the tunnel :) How has your week been?

Tell me about it! Busy new job. Only a four day working week but all my side projects are keeping me very busy. Hope your week gets a bit calmer. Where are you heading off on holiday?

Oh man! Busy week here too, so I feel your pain. And like you I also wonder how people with kids do this! Admiration, yes.
This week has been filled with packing and painting as we are moving to Berlin next week and I am starting a new job a few days later. Lots of action ahead :)
