I have been looking forward to this weekend for a while now. This Saturday I am going in to London to the Scandinavian Christmas Market. This will be my first taste of Christmas in 2012. I ahve been able to stay away from my Christmas music, and although I’ve been tempted to, I still haven’t started decorating the home with garlands and santas. But tomorrow it all begins and I cannot wait! Christmas is such a wonderful time of the year. If you have a couple of free hours in London tomorrow you should come by. It is all happening on Albion Street in Rotherhite.

I think there is 3 separate markets: The Norwegian Seaman’s Church, the Finnish Church and the new Scandinavian Christmas Market in Albion Street hosted by Scan Magazine.
The photo is from the Norwegian Seaman’s Church Julemarked last year. I’ll be heading to the Swedish Church in Marylebone and the Danish Jule bazaar in Hampstead this Saturday! Let me know if you’ll head there too. Would be fun to meet over a glass of Mulled Wine! x

Hi Bianca. Unfortunately didn’t have time to go to the Danish one. We got struck in traffic and almost missed the one by the Norwegian and Finish church, but we managed to get a glass of mulled wine at least. Sooo yummy! :)

How I wish I was going to Christmas Market this weekend. I’m starting to feel very Christmassy; I believe I’m just one step of willpower away from decorating our tree!
Have a wonderful time!

Oh I am struggling with the same thing! My other half has said that I am not allowed to listen to Christmas music until it is December. We will see how that goes ;)

I wish I was going to the Christmas Market. I’m really starting to feel a bit festive now and I can think of no better way to spend the weekend than visiting a Scandinavian Christmas market.

Did you have a chance to go today? We almost missed it as we got stuck in traffic, but it was so nice to have a sneaky little start to Christmas :)

Being in Canada and very far away from this gem, thanks for sharing the photos of this as they are so beautiful! I wish we had more decor like this on our side of the pond.
